These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Neither the Content nor any other portion of the website may be used, reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, accessed, modified, or otherwise exploited, in full or in part, for any purpose without prior written consent.
Information and Availability
Cassandra Ellis Studio regularly checks the accuracy of the information supplied on the Website. However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that all product information is error free. All sizes and measurements provided are approximate to the nearest centimetre or half-inch.
Every effort is made to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects. However, this cannot be guaranteed.
Cassandra Ellis Studio shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

You may not include a link to our web site or display the contents of our web site surrounded or framed or otherwise surrounded by material not originating from us without our consent.
This website may only be used for lawful and proper purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. This includes complying with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice within the UK or other jurisdiction from which the site is accessed.
As a visitor to this website you agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from any liability, loss, claim and expense (including reasonable legal fees) related to your breach or misuse of these terms and conditions.
All goods shall remain in the sole ownership of Cassandra Ellis Studio (the vendor) until such times as all monies payable have been received by the vendor.
By looking after your item in accordance with our care instructions it should give you many years of use.
All of our goods are portrayed as accurately as possible, although slight variations may occur due to the calibration and settings of individual computer or handheld screens.
All measurements quoted are accurate to the nearest centimetre. Please contact us if you need a more precise measurement. You are responsible for taking note of the sizes of items supplied on our website. We do not accept the return of items that do not fit through required access.
We warrant that our goods comply with their overall description and purpose.To our knowledge, your ordered goods will be free from material fault at the time of delivery.
Our warranty does not apply to fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your goods, loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to unreasonable exposure to water, heat or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals, damage by animals or theft, or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party. It also does not apply to goods that you or a third party have modified.
We expect our products to far surpass this period in their lifespan but we cover the integrity of any piece within a commercial environment and will repair any frame should it fail in normal use within a 12 month period, providing the piece has been respectfully cared for according to our care recommendations below, and that the piece has been used for the purpose intended.
Our commercial warranty does not apply to defects resulting from negligence, accident or willful damage by you or by any third party, fair wear and tear, non-intended use or abnormal site conditions. It also does not apply to goods that you or a third party have modified.
If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, we reserve the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality.
We are happy to replace/restore worn or damaged pieces beyond the 12 month warrantee period, please contact us to request a quote.
1. Care of upholstery
Our pieces are upholstered using a mixture of modern and traditional methods, using a combination of natural and manmade fibres unless otherwise specified. Any pure down & feather cushions do require occasional plumping and will also help extend the lifespan of a piece.
Cleaning of upholstery – Please contact your fabric supplier for cleaning instructions. Outer fabrics are the responsibility of the fabric supplier.
2. Care of wood finishes
We recommend polishing the wood with a light natural beeswax or Osmo wood oil every 3- 6 months.
Clean only with a damp non-abrasive cloth. After cleaning the surface should be re-waxed/oiled. Solvents should not be used. Protect fany wooden surfaces from direct contact with iron, steel or copper vessels, any heat, liquid or abrasive surfaces.
Wood will be effected by wet or damp conditions – Furniture should not be left out in rain or overnight as this will effect the colour, patina and longevity of the piece. Joints can also be weakened if repeatedly exposed to damp or wet conditions.
Wood will also be effected by heat – Do not place furniture next to a radiator, as this could cause the wood to warp.
We reserve the right to request images or inspect and remedy on site any reported issues in compliance with your statutory rights.
In all cases we supply goods on condition that our liability for any fault or defect in quality is limited in amount to a sum not exceeding the purchase price of the goods supplied.
Faulty or damaged goods
Any requests for returns or exchanges of goods damaged during delivery, or goods with faults, must be raised within 14 days of delivery or collection. Any claims made after that period will not be accepted. If a longer claim period is required due to exceptional circumstances we must be informed prior to payment of the invoice. All damage or fault claims need to be supported with photographic evidence.
You agree that you have obtained all necessary licences, consents, and permissions required in order to commission us to supply bespoke products to you.
The prices of our products are quoted on the Website and are subject to change without notice.
Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT, currently charged at 20%. VAT will be charged on all orders delivered within the EU. Our VAT number is 268158571.
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.
Payment will be taken at the time of purchase and any additional administration or delivery costs will be charged subsequently if applicable.
Payment should be made in pound sterling only.
Preferred payment is by online transfer. Your invoice will include all bank and payment details.
We also accept MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. Please note there is a 1.75% surcharge for payments made using Paypal. We reserve the right to refuse payment by credit card.
Lead times for furniture orders can vary from 4-12 weeks. Please confirm your specific lead time with us when ordering.
Where an item is made to order, we specify a lead time that we endeavour to adhere to. Occasionally there may be a delay to your order. We keep you updated on the progress of your order until completion.
Cancellation and Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may have a right to cancel your contract.
Our furniture is made-to-order and so in the event that having placed an order you wish to cancel it, you are entitled to cancel your purchase providing you act within 7 working days of placing your order. Cancellation after this period is at our discretion and may incur charges based on the state of the order. This applies to cancellation of orders prior to delivery. If your order has already been delivered, unfortunately we do not offer a cancellation service.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be send for any payments received.
Returns - Furniture
Cassandra Ellis Studio Furniture or bespoke orders can only be returned or exchanged if faulty.
You are responsible for ensuring that the furniture that you have ordered can fit through access available.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate should be obtained when returning any part of you order.
Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival.

Products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to add, remove, substitute or alter products on sale. This reservation is extended to the matching of colours between batches and products. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that colour matches are good, the nature of the pigments and base materials used means that colours may vary.
Whilst every effort is made to display as accurately as possible the colour of our goods, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods on delivery. If in doubt you are advised to examine actual samples of the colour before placing your order
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide adequate storage for the goods purchased. Cassandra Ellis Studio will not take any responsibility for losses, damages or costs arising out of unsuitable, unsafe or inadequate storage conditions.

- Returns of unopened re-saleable items are accepted within 14 days from date of purchase.
- Any customer wishing to exercise this right must notify the vendor by telephone to 07887896481 or by email to email@example.com
- As a further condition of the right to return, customers must also arrange (at their own expense) to return the goods in a saleable condition to Cassandra Ellis Studio. 6, The Village. 101 Amies Street SW11 2JW. If the vendor pays the return cost then this will be deducted from any refund. The goods will be deemed returned when actually received by the vendor at the said address.
- Customers shall be entitled to a full refund (less any charges referred to in (c) and (d) above) on full compliance with the foregoing.
- Any goods mixed to customers’ specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right to cancel.
- Damaged/Lost Goods – Where goods are delivered to or received by the customer damaged or there is a shortfall, Cassandra Ellis Studio must be notified within 5 working days in order for replacement goods to be re-sent free of charge. No such claim will be accepted outside of this time limit. Any such re-delivery is subject to the provision by you of such proof of damage or shortfall as we may reasonably require.
